Cactus Joe purchased the nursery in the late 80's with a focus on native Nevada and Arizona plants that thrive and are eco-friendly to the region. Now, over 30 years later, it has grown into a 7+ acre desert oasis. Not only is there an emphasis on protecting the desert and its natural habitat with drought-tolerant native plants, it has also expanded to include a wide assortment of pottery, concrete statues, metal art, unique outdoor furniture, decorative rainbow glass, rocks, gems, minerals, and many other desert treasures.
